The OSHA 30 HOUR Training is a 4 day program intended for BOTH construction workers, foremen, Supervisors, Superintendents, company Owners, and those who manage Safety. YOU MUST ATTEND ALL 4 DAYS TO RECEIVE AN OSHA 30 HOUR Training CARD.
COMPETENT PERSON STARTS HERE. A ‘Competent Person’ must be:
All courses must be paid ONLINE or IN PERSON in advance of training. Students who complete the course shall receive an IMMEDIATE Temporary Certificate of Completion which can be used at all jobsites until the Official OSHA 30 Hour card arrives via USPS. Students MUST attend all class hours in order to receive a Temporary Certificate of Completion.
Course Duration: 30 Hours
Prerequisite: Passport or Government I.D. Required
Current Fee: $375 in advance - $400 at the door
NOTE: In our attempt to diminish FRAUD and provide a professional looking product, Sudden Safety Consultants applies photos to all OSHA cards. Each participant must bring one ID size photo, which can be purchased at ANY Walgreen, Rite Aid, CVS, Duane Reade, etc..., to be applied to the final card.

OSHA-30 is training for the Competent Person. The Competent Person must have the knowledge to identify hazards and the authority to take preventive actions, including stopping the work. In addition, a Competent Person must be trained in the requirements of all OSHA standards in order to communicate potential and existing hazards to his/her employees. OSHA-30 covers all topics included in OSHA-10 plus addional topics listed below for a total of 22 topics from construction Standards 29 CFR 1926, including:
1. Managing Health & Safety
2. Fire Protection and Prevention, Subpart F
3. Materials Handling, Storage, Use & Disposal, Subpart H
4. Scaffolds, Subpart L
5. Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, & Conveyors, Subpart N
6. Motor Vehicles, Mechanized Equipment; Rollover Protective Structures
7. Overhead Protection; and Signs, Signals and Barricades, Subparts O, W and G
8. Trenching & Excavation, Subpart P
9. Welding and Cutting, Subpart S
10. Concrete and Masonry Construction, Subpart Q
11. Steel Erection, Subpart R
12. Confined Space Entry, Subpart J
Upon successful completion of the course, participants also receive an OSHA-30 Hour Completion Certificate.
