RESPIRATORY PROTECTION

THE HAZARDS OF EXPOSURE

Sudden Safety Consultants offers individual classes in Respiratory Protection to discuss YOUR SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES and how dust control methods can help limit worker exposure to Crystalline Silica and more.  Watch the International videos below to learn more stories from around the globe.

ENGLISH - HAZARDS OF SILICA DUST

Many families exposed to Crystalline Silica have seen first-hand the tragic effects of Silicosis, but the tragedies are Internationally widespread. Death due to overexposure to Crystalline Silica is not NEW in the USA either. In 1938, OSHA produced a video featuring former Secretary of Labor, Frances Perkins (1933-1945), which describes both the hazards associated with silica exposure and the U.S. Department of Labor's early efforts to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for men and women working in the USA.  Although tremendous progress has been made since that video was produced, evidence indicates that a substantial number of workers still suffer from silica-related diseases and new exposures to this day.

HINDI - सिलिका धूल के खतरों

SPANISH - UNA GRAVE ENFERMEDAD

FRENCH - La silicose: Incurable, mais évitable
